CHICAGO, December 6, 2004 -- Tribune
Publishing, a division of Tribune Company (NYSE: TRB),
today announced that publishing veteran Vincent (Vince)
Casanova has been appointed vice president/circulation,
effective immediately. Casanova was previously vice president/circulation

"This move to a full time group executive
role is a natural extension of the leadership Vince has demonstrated
coordinating key circulation activities across our newspapers
in recent months," said Scott Smith, Tribune Publishing
chief operating officer. "In addition, Vince’s
expertise in marketing, distribution and solid controls will
be a great resource as we continue to develop quality circulation
with highly responsive readership."
