Tribune to Present at Bear Stearns
Conference
CHICAGO, March 1, 2002 -- Tribune
Company (NYSE: TRB) will
present at the Bear Stearns Media, Entertainment and Information
Conference on Tuesday, March 5. Dennis FitzSimons, Tribune
president and chief operating officer, will discuss the company's
major market media strategy. FitzSimons will also participate
in a panel discussion regarding local television.
The Bear Stearns Conference takes place at
The Breakers Hotel in Palm Beach, Florida. Tribune's presentation
is scheduled for 10:15 a.m. EST (9:15 a.m. CST; 7:15 a.m.
