Tribune to Outline Business Strategy
at Media Conference
Television
group VP Pat Mullen to discuss broadcast operations,
chart plans for growth
CHICAGO, January 5, 2001 -- Tribune
Company executives will review the company’s business
strategy at next week’s Salomon Smith Barney Global
Entertainment, Media and Telecommunications Conference.
Tribune Television Group Vice President Pat
Mullen will discuss the company’s television operations
and outline the division’s plans for growth. Tribune
Vice President for Corporate Relations Ruthellyn Musil will
review the company’s strong financial position and its
expectations for 2001.
The Salomon Smith Barney conference takes place
at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.
The Tribune presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, January
9, at 10:30 a.m. EST. A live Web cast of the presentation
